Starting at Llyn Ogwen we make our way up and into the heart of the Glyderau and aim to reach the peaks of Glyder Fawr and Y Garn.
The exact route will depend on the weather on the day but we will access the higher ground via some Grade 1 scrambling where a head for heights and sure footing is required.
The terrain is challenging with loose scree slopes, rocky terrain underfoot and the requirement to use our hands as well as our feet to negotiate certain sections.
The rewards are worth it though with stunning scenery, exciting routes and a seemingly endless amount of rock formations!
These are open dates where you will be part of a small, friendly group of other like minded people.

I was impressed by the geology of the Glyderau which Steve described in detail as we walked. Thank you!
The weather was terrible but Steve made up for it with his enthusiasm and coaching as well as his local knowledge. Will book again.
