The route can be completed between five and ten days but seven days is what we aim for to experience the impressive slate heritage of North Wales at a manageable pace whilst still having the time to appreciate and enjoy the beautiful landscape of Snowdonia.
We offer a fully guided walking service for this route. All our staff are bilingual Welsh speakers and are local to North Wales and have also been brought up in some of the villages that you will walk through.
Our staff also have friends and family who still work in the quarrying industry of North Wales which means you’ll get a truly authentic experience whilst walking the Snowdonia Slate Trail or "Llwybr Llechi Eryri" in Welsh. We will show you the special, hidden gems of the Snowdonia Slate Trail including magical slate workings and quarries and ensure you have a fantastic adventure along the way!

I have been on guided hikes in the Snowdonia mountains before, this time it was different; Snowdonia is Stephen's childhood playground, he helps you see the mountains through a different, fascinating and beautiful lense.I was blessed to see the famed wild Carneddau ponies. If you want to do more than just visit and summit a peak, I can't recommend Stephen enough. He is clearly a professional, accomplished mountaineer and instructor but also part of this community, you get a window into all that is magical about North Wales, Snowdonia National Park and the community that lives there. I'll be back!!
