Here's what Kala from London thought of the one day navigation course:
"Amazing day out with Stephen yesterday learning essential skills. We were out all day learning how to navigate with a map and compass whilst doing a beautiful walk. Stephen was also excellent in the lead up to the day out by keeping in touch, advising on areas to stay in, recommending a lovely bed and breakfast and even providing pick up service on arrival. All the little things added up to what has been a wonderful experience. I'm going away with lots more confidence on the mountains! Thank you Aim Higher!"

We had a brilliant day on our navigational course, can't wait to get practising with our new navigational skills, thankyou Steve for being so patient and explaining things in layman's terms for us. Fully recommend this course well worth it.
Fantastic day on the Carneddau today with Steve. The navigation course was brilliant. I learned a lot with map and compass along with Steve’s knowledge of the mountains and the local history of the area we covered. I would highly recommend booking a place on one of these courses that Steve runs. I’m looking forward to go on the next one. Thank you Steve.

I recently enjoyed a fantastic day out with Stephen on a one day tailored Scrambling/Navigation course, kindly purchased as a gift for me by my partner. Stephen was very experienced and professional, creating a relaxed friendly environment. He was great at assessing areas I needed to improve on and made sure I got the most out of my day, I really enjoyed the extra knowledge around the local geology and flora too. I’d realised how rusty my planning, navigation and scrambling skills had become, especially after the last year. The course was exactly what I needed, I now have a solid base to keep practicing at. I’d highly recommend to anyone who loves spending time in the mountains or wants to in the future, I think whatever your current level you would still learn a lot from an experienced mountain leader and gain essential knowledge for a safe time out in the mountains. Thanks again Steve, looking forward to the next day.
