We always have a chat with people and perhaps offer some advice in a friendly manner. Most people appreciate the advice, some don't and some chose to offer their own opinion.
If you ar eplanning to tak eth efamily out on activities then the planning stage must include looking after the little ones. They don't always have the ability to do what adults can do and sometimes it's the return journey that highlights this.
As part of your planning think about checking the weather in detail from more than one source, choose a suitable journey or activity for all the family / group, make sure you have suitable clothing and equipment including enough food and drink and leave relevant information with a reliable person back home or at your accommodation. You should also have the skills, knowledge or experience to do your activity safely, if you feel you haven't then change your plans accordingly or employ a qualified, insured and experienced guide or instructor to help you with your activity!
