Snowdonia Slate Trail - Welsh learners
A great day to finish our series of walks for Welsh learners along sections of the Snowdonia Slate Trail. Today's journey from Betws y Coed to Capel Curig was a walk along forest tracks, open fields, alongside the Afon Llugwy and all in view of the autumn colors.
Ben Stammers from the North Wales Wildlife Trust came along who shared his knowledge and experience and also gave everyone the opportunity to learn new Welsh words connected to Nature.
Llio Hughes from Gwynedd Council was with us to observe the benefits to adults learning the Welsh language outdoors.
Thanks also to Cemlyn Jones for leading the walks for us and his professional attitude as well as his timely input of interesting and relevant information along the various walks.
A big thank you to Hunaniaith for the continued support and encouragement of our partnership to highlight, promote and maintain the Welsh language.
As a company we are proud to place the Welsh language at the heart of our daily activities and processes. All our courses and activities are available and can be delivered bilingually. We employ local, Welsh speaking instructors and leaders, who both contribute to local communities who use the Welsh language and also pass on their unique knowledge of Snowdonia to our clients.
